Characteristics
It has a creeping growth habit and is a herbaceous ground cover. It can be cultivated in aquariums in full sun or high lighting and is appropriate for use as a foreground plant.

Leaves
Along the stem, the leaves are placed alternately. The orbicular-peltate leaf blade has a crenate edge and can become up to 6 cm broad. The thin, 5- to 20-cm-long leaf petioles have a pointed tip.
Flower
The blooms are carried on an up to 12 cm long, whorled inflorescence. White flowers cover them.
